Priona Blossom

Situated in a restored conservatory in Priona Gardens, the floral piece ‘Priona Blossom’ echoes the ‘wild but tight’ philosophy of garden design that was pioneered here in 1978 by Henk Gerritsen.

The Summerrestaurant 'De Tuinkamer' is new restaurant in the Netherlands that officially opened June 18th 2016 by Jonnie and Thérèse Boer. Michelin starred Alwin Leemhuis  is the chef of ‘De Tuinkamer’. Situated in a restored conservatory in the famous Priona Gardens, the floral piece ‘Priona Blossom’ echoes the ‘wild but tight’ philosophy of garden design that was pioneered here in 1978 by Henk Gerritsen.

Titled ‘Priona Blossom’, the piece uses wool, typical to Claudy’s work sourced from the rare Dutch breed of Drenthe Heath sheep. In keeping with the theme of food, the wool is dyed in rich colors from edible plants like onion, chamomile, mint and calendula. The piece is embellished with embroidered hand-spun silk yarn.
